after months of , nikon . an updated d3, it has the addition of a 24.5 megapixel sensor. what does this mean? well, for most of us, it means even larger photos of our friends’ birthday parties. but for the studio and landscape photographers, this means that nikon is starting to makers like hassleblad and mamiya.
is it for you? only way to find out is to lay out $8000 and get your own. this price is nearly double that of the still-very-amazing d3, and has even spurred the camera community to until the price is lowered to something more reasonable.
