is a project by artists justin gignac and christine santora. they make paintings of things they want and sell each piece online for the amount of money it will take to turn each want into a have.
today, they launched a great series of paintings called “vegas vacation,” which includes pieces like “to see showgirls” ($201.40) and “to fly home” ($488.50).
We’ve painted everything from the flights, the hotel room, showgirls, all-you-can-eat buffets and, of course, lots of gamblin’ money. Our buyers can even get in on the action with “$1000 to Bet on Black.” If we hit it we’ll give the buyer of the painting $500 back.
