check out the new for the will ferrell nascar comedy talladega nights: the ballad of ricky bobby. the preview is a little light on laughs, if you ask me, but with that cast i can’t imagine that it won’t be pretty funny.

You’re right–this does look quite a bit dry on the funnies. I’ve got to wonder what reason Will F’s managers have for telling him to say yes to everything that passes his way. Seems to me that being a bit more prudent (ie, Bill Murray or the just mentioned Christopher Walken) gives you more career longevity. Used to love Ferrell’s stuff, but he hasn’t done anything NEW ever
