a month ago i talked to a dude who had the sickest custom multicolored, pattern shifting led bike spoke setup. he made them himself (as part of ) but said they’re too pricey to make and sell. but now a new, simplified but still super rad project has surfaced online: , complete with full instructions and photos. the source code (???) for that page has info on where to buy the components.

On further examination, it appears Squid Labs is the group behind Instructables, where those LED wheels are shown. Perhaps it’s the same design from the same fella? Either way, I salute them for releasing this for all of us to have.
