rock and roll acid test – show premiere tonight!




sneaky sneakmover mike senese makes his tv debut tonight on the , a new show that mixes mythbusters and good old fashioned rock ‘n roll, with four hosts who set out to demonstrate rock in physical terms.

mike is the scientist of the team, and you’ll get to see him assemble and explain the technical aspects of the projects and builds the team undertakes. from hovercraft to theremin to exploding manequins, there’s something for everyone.

incredible hulk movie review entirely in hulk-speak

i can’t comment on the review itself because i haven’t seen the movie yet. regardless, it made me laugh.

swedish company bests google earth at 3d mapping

google earth is amazing, but their current project to laser trace individual buildings is a slow process to give us 3d maps of our urban environments.

leapfrogging ahead of the pack, the swedish company gives us a , using an algorithm of 60,000 photos. with this process, every building in the city is represented, as well as all of the trees and terrain. to make things more impressive, they’ve managed to squeeze this into a website that you can access and explore from an ordinary browser. and they made the whole thing happen in just three days!
