similar to what trent reznor did with “the hand that feeds,” radiohead is releasing their latest single, nude, as component tracks (“stems”) so listeners can make their own remixes via garageband, logic, etc.

the file is for sale until april 8, and once your remix is complete you can upload it to a special radiohead site, where it will be voted on by listeners until may 1. the best ones will get listened to by radiohead themselves (not sure if that indicates anything important, but i suppose it’s pretty cool).
