got a note alerting me that the soundtrack to broken machine films' new indie release is provided by none other than . check out the vidclip on their site, it plays like a music video.

Hi Gary!

"(This Is) The Dream of Evan and Chan" is the name of the first song collaboration between DNTEL's Jimmy Tamborello and Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard, so I guess you could call it the first Postal Service song.

the song is on DNTEL's 2001 album "Life is Full of Possibilities." Boy I like this song.

Hi Tim. Thanks for the info - I noticed the track had a very "Postal Service" sound to it. Its a great song. I wasn't too clear on if this video is part of a larger piece or just a music video for that track. Either way, I'm enjoying it a lot.

This is a music video done for the song back in the day. Never got officially released, but it was cut up a bit and used for a video background on the Postal Service world tour for the song "Clark Gable".

It's a great song, and the Dntel album it's off of (Life is Full of Possibilities) is phenomenal- you should definitely pick up a copy when you can.
