"(This Is) The Dream of Evan and Chan" is the name of the first song collaboration between DNTEL's Jimmy Tamborello and Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard, so I guess you could call it the first Postal Service song.
Hi Tim. Thanks for the info - I noticed the track had a very "Postal Service" sound to it. Its a great song. I wasn't too clear on if this video is part of a larger piece or just a music video for that track. Either way, I'm enjoying it a lot.
This is a music video done for the song back in the day. Never got officially released, but it was cut up a bit and used for a video background on the Postal Service world tour for the song "Clark Gable".
It's a great song, and the Dntel album it's off of (Life is Full of Possibilities) is phenomenal- you should definitely pick up a copy when you can.

the song is on DNTEL's 2001 album "Life is Full of Possibilities." Boy I like this song.
