remember manimal?

i had completely forgotten about this show until today, when it was mention on in the context of one of the all time greatest network flops. believe it or not this show was exported across the pond, i remember watching it on sunday nights as a kid.

One of the best lines cut from "Telledega Nights" was Jon C. Reilly's ad-lib about how he imagines Jesus to be: "Sort of like a changeling, you know, half man, half animal -- like that show, Manimal."

It's funnier in context, and said by Jon C. Reilly.
