hawthorne heights wants you to save ROCK!

if you've had it up to here with the way our society and culture have put rock music on the backburner, read hawthorne heights's stirring
Tomorrow, our second album, “If Only You Were Lonely” will be in stores. We are reaching out to you because Hawthorne Heights can use your help. We need you, your friends and anyone else you know that likes ROCK music to buy our album tomorrow. The only reason we are able to be a band is because of your support. Without you we would not be able to do what we do.
You buying our album tomorrow has much greater meaning than simply supporting Hawthorne Heights. ROCK music needs your support. Our society and culture has put rock music on the backburner. If our album can debut at #1 all of us will have taken ROCK music back to the top of the charts where it belongs.

guess what album i won't be buying tomorrow.
this makes me barf!!
does downoading the album from limewire count as support for ROCK?
I am going to buy Ne-Yo's album tomorrow instead of the Hawthorne Heights album. Who's with me?!?
As soon as I woke up this morning I supported ROCK by blasting "Master of Puppets" turned up really fucking loud.
Bleeccch. I had never heard of this band or their music, but after reading this missive I formed an idea of exactly what they sounded like in my head. Then I checked out the video on their website, and I had nailed it at about 85% accuracy. Only a terrible band who sounds like 175 other terrible bands currently getting airplay could display such sad, clueless (and most likely unintentional) arrogance.
This Ne-Yo album is bangin! anyone else pick this up today?!? His sound is so refreshing!
fuck THESE guys!
Don't they mean "help save the SHIT industry"?
