just saw an . had to look it up, discovered that they released two “robot” models (les paul and sg) in 2008. why “robot?” because in them and they automatically tune the guitar for you, in a variety of tunings (and user presets). list price $3999 for the les paul. .

price drop like that sounds like it’s not a huge seller. still, i kiiiiinda like it. great choice for a cover band guitarist who needs to swap tunings regularly.

also, i suppose i should start reading my catalogs more frequently.
