Excuse me, but this “list of geniuses” is, in fact, retarded. Matt Groening #4? Really? Above Nelson Mandela and Grigori Perelman? I do love me some Simpsons, but not quite as much as desegregation, or the secrets of the universe. And Nicholson Baker is the highest-ranked English-language writer in the WORLD? Surely that is news even to Nicholson Baker.
