i had forgotten about this dude jesse camp, an mtv vj who scored the position by winning a viewers voting contest back in 1998. he was strange and fascinating, with his crazy hair, aerosmith scarves, and bone-thin stature. his tenure on the network only lasted about a year.
from mtv he released a rock album that bombed, and then disappeared. one east villager followed his post-mtv maneuvers for some time and recently wrote a short piece about it. aside from that, it’s still mysterious, minus this video from november 16, 2008:
the youtube description states that he was likely trying to score for his pal kid rock, who was inside the party at the time.
