the history of 5.1 surround sound

our good pal colin has been up to some really awesome stuff, like working on the dvd special features for apocalypse now: the complete dossier, dracula and the recent blu-ray release of godfather.

in the extras section of the apocalypse now disc, there’s a segment about how dolby engineers pioneered the 5.1 surround sound system to help moviegoers enjoy this movie and the first star wars. it’s very interesting and informative. also edited by our pal colin. nice work dude.
