i’m really into the songs posted on myspace by the oakland/santa rosa guitar duo first novels. great melodies and harmonies and great dueling acoustic guitar work. certain songs remind me of john fahey or donovan or acoustic kinks songs. they are criminally without a label somehow. so, if you know someone who runs a label, pass on this post on as a hot tip. check a track:
