tonight at the institute of contempary art in boston new england conservatory’s bruce brubaker and composer/dj nico muhly present “haydnseek,” a remix blending original piano sonatas by franz joseph haydn with live sampling and interactive computer performance. donal fox takes the stage with his trio to perform the genre-defying “mashups in blue.” music inspired by haydn, j.s bach, thelonious monk, robert schumann, astor piazolla, domenico scarlatti, and james brown coalesces into stunning original work.
