laser-diaphram microphone

using a similar concept to the laser-driven record player that uses lightwaves rather than a needle to read the grooves on your vinyl, a new patent for a laser-driven microphone promises new levels of clarity and precision. as for warmth and character, that's to be seen. be prepared to pay a hefty payment for one when it becomes available.
