lime spiders



i remember staying up late in 1988 to watch 120 minutes on mtv. they used to play a bunch of somewhat interesting videos… timbuk 3, del fuegos, xtc, mojo nixon, robyn hitchcock, etc. i remember seeing a lime spiders video too. i have no idea which song. i’ve heard some tracks by them recently and their sound really takes me back. it’s along the lines of the plimsouls or dramarama. sorta cheesy and garagey all at the same time. this is one of the softer songs on their volatile lp.

      i bet that lime spiders song was ‘just one solution’ from the ‘cave comes alive’ album. that was a good one.
