jazz dump

i've been converting some of my fave jazz records to mp3s. it's been fun. straightfoward and enjoyable stuff. here're some selections...

joe henderson "mo' joe" from the kicker. 1967. milestone.

bobby hutcherson "rojo" from happenings. 1966. blue note. hutcherson plays vibraphone. he was only 25 when this came out.

eric kloss "love" from doors. 1972. cobblestone. slow, moody stuff from the blind saxman.

tyrone washington "positive path" from natural essence. 1969. blue note. washington's lead sax playing makes this record really excellent. there is almost no info about this guy online. it'd be nice to see a full discogrpahy. he wins the age contest by being only 23 when this record came out.
