commonmedia announces drm-free music and video stores
commonmedia, a “community-based media distribution services and solutions,” is opening a drm-free music and video store. unlike major online music sellers, commonmedia lets artists sell their works without being encoded with accessibility-impeding digital rights management blockades – and their system operates using bit torrent.
sounds like a good spot for aspiring musicians and videographers to post their works. no indication if they’re involved with creative commons, though they should be.
