bruce ditmas

way, way out there in the jazz spectrum is the yellow lp by bruce ditmas. it’s experimental jazz with ditmas on arp, moog, and drums. there’s also trumpet and a little bit of vocals. it’s spacey and intense at the same time. really original stuff. ditmas has played with paul bley and jaco pastorius and is known primarily as a drummer. check out “l’unita”. 1977. wizard records.
