bill nelson has solo records and records with his other band be-bop deluxe, but sound on sound is the only one with his band red noise. sound on sound has an artsy pop/punk sound that borders on new wave and this record is from 1979! it pre-dates most other new wave stuff. anyway, check out “revolt into style”. this one is put out by harvest records which did tons of other great british stuff from the 70s.
