high school band plays dj shadow



A high school ensemble has performed some of DJ Shadow’s work. It’s impressive stuff from the youngsters, even when it falls out of time a bit. Really fun to hear these songs in a different context. This is the instructor’s page and here’s a video clip. Be careful it’s 67mb.

      this must be the highest honor bestowed upon any dj or producer. so cool. i love the kid in the glasses playing the xylophone while bobbing his head. now that’s hiphop!
