google maps: better and better
one gripe about google maps is it doesn’t include a distance key for you to rough estimate travel distances. “sue and paul” have leapfrogged that problem with a route making pedometer (using google maps api). double click your waypoints and it gives you instant precision distances. check out the path around oakland’s lake merritt. i also mapped the bike route from my old apartment to the tijuana border.
