i was in an old navy yesterday (cut me some slack — they have cheap, good quality socks) and i heard a le tigre song on the in-store pay-for-play tape loop. “wow,” i thought to myself. “i didn’t realize le tigre was marketing to the total stupid-ass contingency.” but apparently they absofuckinglutely are. looks like they’re producing a track for paris hilton’s upcoming album. yowza mclamely!

p. diddy is partnering with pitbull to launch bad boy latino. seems like an ingenious move.

Pitbull, who will sign artists, handle the marketing and help run the label, said that Combs’ involvement can only help Latino artists. … “I see it as someone with vision who sees where music is going,” Pitbull told the Miami Herald.
